Is Imran Khan making his Bollywood comeback with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na 2? The actor spills the beans
Imran Khan's Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, which marked the directorial debut of Abbas Tyrewala, also featured Genelia Deshmukh in a lead role

Megastar Aamir Khan's nephew Imran Khan made his sensational debut in 2008 with the coming-of-age rom-com Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, which garnered the status of a 'cult classic' among the new generation. However, post-Katti Batti (which released in 2015), the actor didn't appear in the movies. Now as per the reports of his Bollywood comeback, the actor shares whether he will return to showbiz with the sequel to Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. "Jaane Tu was the story of so many people. But for my part, it was the journey of Jai from boyhood to manhood. It is the story of two young people growing up, understanding what they seek in a partner and finding their way to love. It culminates so nicely that I don’t know what additional emotional growth you could have for these characters,” the actor told Vogue.Sharing an anecdote from his debut film, he added, "There’s this scene in the beginning where all of us gather for Aditi’s cat’s funeral and when I crouch to give my eulogy, my knee makes this cracking sound. They didn’t edit it out and if you turn up the volume, you can hear it. It’s gotten worse with age. Do yoga, kids.”Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, which marked the directorial debut of Abbas Tyrewala, also featured Genelia Deshmukh, Ayaz Khan, Manjari Fadnis, Paresh Rawal, Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Nirav Mehta, Alishka Varde, Karan Makhija, Sugandha Garg, Prateik Babbar among others.Apart from Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, Imran Khan featured in films like Delhi Belly, Kidnap, Break Ke Baad, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Once Upon ay Time in Mumbai Dobaara!, I Hate Luv Storys among others.
