Hasan Minhaj to host politically-charged weekly comedy talk show on Netflix in 2018

Hasan Minhaj is set to host his own weekly talk show on Netflix that will debut later this year. Netflix has committed to a 32 episode order, making Minhaj the first Indian-American host of a weekly comedy talk show.[caption id="attachment_4377351" align="alignnone" width="825"] Hasan Minhaj. We are so excited to bring his new talk series to Netflix members around the world.”Last year, Minhaj released his one-hour Netflix comedy special Hasan Minhaj: Homecoming King which was appreciated by the audience and critics alike. Minhaj also hosted the 2017 White House Correspondents' Dinner. He has also been a part of Jon Stewart's The Daily Show as a correspondent, where he will be seen till July this year, after which he is expected to begin working on his new show. Minhaj  is all set to star in Lionsgate’s The Spy Who Dumped Me which is expected to hit theaters this summer.Minhaj will be co-producing the upcoming project along with Art & Industry’s Michelle Caputo and Shannon Hartman, Jennie Church-Cooper from Haven Entertainment, and Prashanth Venkataramanujam who is also the show's co-creator.
