Neil Nitin Mukesh hosts a fairytale engagement ceremony; see pictures, videos of the festivities
Neil Nitin Mukesh will dedicate a special song for his bride, Rukmani Sahay, in the sangeet ceremony tonight. They will also perform an impromptu dance.

The pre-wedding festivities of actor Neil Nitin Mukesh and Rukmani Sahay kicked off with style on 7 February. After the engagement ceremony, the two to-be weds threw a grand cocktail party for over 500 members of their family and close friends in Udaipur.The Times of India reports that Neil arrived in Udaipur on 6 February and hosted a Sufi night for his guests. The first pre-wedding function was that of the engagement ceremony the next day. A fairy-tale like ceremony was held as the couple exchanged their rings. The engagement ceremony was followed by a cocktail party on the night of 7 February, in which DJ Suketu belted out some foot tapping numbers. Neil's father and veteran singer Nitin Mukesh was also seen greeting the guests and the bride's family.Udaipur singer Priyansh Paliwal performed for the guests in attendance. Neil even joined Paliwal as they crooned the song 'Kabira' from Ayan Mukerji's 2013 romantic comedy Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.Then Neil and Sahay hit the dance floor and shook a leg on numbers like 'Kaala Chashma', from Nitya Mehra's 2016 romantic comedy Baar Baar Dekho, and the evergreen English song 'Gone Gone Gone' by Phillips Phillips.The eve of the wedding day will be a musical night as the couple will host the mehendi and sangeet. The report by the Times of India states that Neil will be singing a special song for his to-be wife but he has kept the name of the song under wraps. Also, while their entire family has rehearsed dance performances for the sangeet ceremony, the couple will keep it natural as they will just do an impromptu couple dance. The wedding day, i.e., 9 February, will see a rain dance party, a football match and volleyball match pitting Neil 11 vs Rukmani 11. It will be followed by the wedding ceremony that will begin with sehrabandi, baaraat procession and the pheras. The newly-wed couple will host a family dinner and another cocktail party on Thursday night.They will also throw a grand reception bash at an upscale Mumbai hotel on 17 February.However, according to another report by the Times of India, Neil will have to wait for the honeymoon as he has to wrap up Madhur Bhandarkar's film Indu Sakar and then begin shooting for Rohit Shetty's comedy ensemble Golmaal Again. He was last seen in Bejoy Nambiar's thriller Wazir last year.
