Babumoshai Bandookbaaz first look: Nawazuddin Siddiqui answers nature's call armed with a gun

The teaser poster of Nawazuddin Siddiqui's upcoming film Babumoshai Bandookbaaz makes his character, who seems to be on his way to relieve himself, look formidable. The character lives up to his surname with presence of the gun in the picture.It features Nawazuddin's character Babumoshai Bandookbaaz walking in a deserted, arid field. He is seen wearing a banyan and lungi and carrying a dalda can, which is typically associated with open defecation. A shotgun is partially tucked into his lungi at the back and a transistor radio is tucked under his arm. He is scratching himself. The poster has the raw look of his previous films Manjhi - The Mountain Man and Gangs of Wasseypur.Babumoshai Bandookbaaz is directed by Kushan Nandy, the son of Pritish Nandy. It was scheduled to release in 2016 but the release date was shifted due to a lack of resources. It is speculated that Siddiqui will play a contract killer in the film.It was in the news in 2016 over a controversy involving its lead actress Chitrangada Singh and her fight with the director over an intimate scene. While Nandy said that Singh refused to shoot the scene despite being told about it months before, Singh said that Nandy was not happy with the shot she gave and wanted her to be on top of Siddiqui for the scene, which she was not comfortable with.
