‘I’m going to ruin you… I f*ing own you’: Lawsuit in New York against senior JPMorgan executive

A senior JPMorgan Chase executive has been accused in a New York civil lawsuit of sexual abuse, coercion and racial harassment by a junior employee, according to court filings.

The complaint, filed in the New York County Supreme Court under a pseudonym, alleges that the executive, identified as Lorna Hajdini, misused her senior position to pressure a subordinate. The bank has denied the allegations.

According to the lawsuit, the alleged behaviour began with inappropriate workplace remarks but escalated into repeated sexual advances and intimidation. The plaintiff claims his refusals were met with threats tied to his career, including one instance where the executive allegedly told him, “If you don’t f*k me soon, I’m going to ruin you… never forget, I f*king own you.”

The complaint further alleges that the executive administered a substance without consent and engaged in sexual acts despite clear objections. In one account cited in the filing, the employee recalls pleading, “Don’t make me do this,” while in another instance he allegedly said, “I’m very uncomfortable, please… I’m begging you,” claims that, according to the lawsuit, were ignored.

These claims have not been proven in court and will be examined during legal proceedings.

The filing also details allegations of racial harassment. The plaintiff says he was subjected to offensive remarks linked to his ethnicity. Among the comments cited are, “Birthday BJ for the brown boy? My little brown boy,” and “You’re gonna need to earn it, my little Arab boy toy.”

In addition, the lawsuit alleges that the conduct extended beyond the workplace, claiming the executive visited the plaintiff’s residence uninvited and continued alleged pressure there.

JPMorgan Chase has denied wrongdoing. A spokesperson said: “Following an investigation, we don’t believe there’s any merit to these claims.”

The legal proceedings are expected to continue in the coming months.
