In order to publicise her latest book from the "Fifty Shades" series, author EL James decided to hold an 'ask me anything' session on Twitter. However, things for her, did not go as planned.[caption id="attachment_2076631" align="alignleft" width="380"]Courtesy: Facebook Courtesy: Facebook[/caption]Along with the usual simple "what's your favourite song" and "what do you like to do in your free time" questions there were a few she probably was not expecting. Twitter users saw this as the perfect opportunity to ask her some important questions, like calling out the author on her character Christian Grey's stalker tendencies and the abusive relationship he shares with the protagonist Anastasia Steele. Most of the negative comments came from critics, former abuse victims and readers who object to the way in which the relationship between the characters is presented in the books. And things got bad very quickly.
However there were some genuine fans out there participating.
Twitter came out in full support to those taking the author to task on her books.
Well our heart goes out to her PR team.
