Lamborghini Huracán LP580-2 launched in India at Rs 2.99 crore
The rear-wheel driven, purist version of the Huracán is here within a week of global unveil
After the global premier of the Lamborghini Huracán LP580-2 at the LA Motor Show in the United States last week, the latest raging bull has made a surprise entry into India with prices starting at Rs 2.99 core.
The LP580-2 isn't the fastest or most powerful Huracán out there, but it certainly promises to be the most fun if you can tame it. The Huracán LP580-2, as the name suggests, gets a 580PS tune, which feeds the power to a rear wheel drive system. The torque output is rated at 540Nm. Compared to the full monty LP610-4, the LP580-2 is 0.2s slower to the ton with a sprint time of 3.4s, and has a 5kmph lower top whack of around 318kmph. But the Huracán LP580-2 is more about driving skill and fun than bragging rights. Compared to the Gallardo LP550-2, the Huracán LP580-2 has 50% better torsional rigidity to improve handling. Visually, the Huracán LP580-2 distinguishes itself from the LP610-4 variant with larger airdams, a slightly revised rear aero kit, 19-inch wheels with a new design and steel brakes with aluminium callipers. The LP580-2 also runs on specially designed Pirelli PZero tyres.
The Lamborghini Huracán LP580-2 goes on sale instantly and is marginally cheaper than the LP610-4.
