2017 Audi A3 to launch in India today: Specifications, price, features
The 2017 Audi A3 will compete with the Mercedes-Benz CLA sedan and is expected to be priced about Rs 1.5 lakhs higher than the outgoing model.

Audi is all geared up for the launch of its much-awaited 2017 refresh of the Audi A3. The launch comes after the recent launch of the new 2017 Audi A3 convertible which took place February this year.
The 2017 Audi A3 is not expected to be a new model from the ground up, but more of a facelift. The new updates would include some minor cosmetic and mechanical modifications to the models that would include revised headlamps, tail lamps and a new engine.
The interiors get an update as well. The cabin is now all-black, with a added creature comforts like climate control, seven-inch infotainment display that works well with the new parking sensors. Also added to this list is a panoramic sunroof and a wireless charging point that sits at the front armrest.Coming to the engine, the old 1.8-litre model will be replaced by a 1.4-litre unit that produces 150bhp and 250Nm of torque. The same will be paired to a 7-speed DSG transmission that as always, sends power to the front wheels.
The diesel burner features a 2.0-litre 35TDI that produces 141bhp/320Nm of torque that powers the front wheels using a 7-speed shifter.The 2017 Audi A3 will compete with the Mercedes-Benz CLA sedan and is expected to be priced about Rs 1.5 lakhs higher than the outgoing model.
