Police in the US state of Illinois have reported that a youngster went on a stabbing spree at several residences, leaving four people—including an adolescent girl—dead and at least five injured.

It is roughly ninety miles northwest of Chicago to find Rockford.
The police reported that the deceased comprised two men, ages 22 and 49, a lady, 63, and a 15-year-old girl.
Five persons had been hurt, according to the police statement, although US media later quoted the police as claiming seven people had been hurt.
