Trump media company eyes $100,000 monthly fee for early access to Truth Social posts: Report
Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), which owns Truth Social, has also proposed a discounted subscription of $60,000 per month for firms willing to commit to a three-year contract, the sources said. The discussions remain confidential

US President Donald Trump's social media company has discussed charging Wall Street traders and investment firms up to $100,000 a month for faster access to the US president's posts on Truth Social, according to Reuters.
Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), which owns Truth Social, has also proposed a discounted subscription of $60,000 per month for firms willing to commit to a three-year contract, the sources said. The discussions remain confidential.
On Thursday, TMTG launched a paid, licensed data feed called Truth API, designed to give banks and trading firms the fastest access to posts from the platform's 10 most influential accounts. The company, however, did not disclose pricing.
The launch marks TMTG's first move into data licensing, creating a potential new revenue stream. The announcement, however, drew criticism from Democrats.
US Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon, the top Democrat on the Senate Finance Committee, said the service would financially benefit the Trump family and "make Wall Street traders rich."
The White House referred questions about Wyden's remarks to TMTG, which did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Trump's posts on Truth Social have frequently moved financial markets, making rapid access to his statements valuable for hedge funds, high-frequency traders and other financial firms.
On April 9, 2025, for example, Wall Street's major indexes surged after Trump announced in a Truth Social post that he would pause many of his new tariffs for 90 days.
According to the sources, access to the Truth API could be especially valuable for high-frequency trading firms, where even a speed advantage of a few milliseconds can translate into hundreds of thousands of dollars in profits on large trades.
The Financial Times first reported the discussions over the proposed $100,000 monthly subscription fee on Thursday.
Some of the most-followed accounts on Truth Social belong to Trump himself and to those closely aligned with him, including his sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, as well as prominent supporters such as Dan Bongino and Sean Hannity.
