At least 40 militants were killed Wednesday when Syrian army targeted their gatherings and hideouts in the southern province of Daraa, according to a military source.

Damascus: At least 40 militants were killed Wednesday when Syrian army targeted their gatherings and hideouts in the southern province of Daraa, according to a military source.[caption id="attachment_2047299" align="alignleft" width="380"]Representational image. Agencies.[/caption]The army also destroyed an ammunition cache and several vehicles, some of which equipped with anti-aircraft machinegun, SANA news agency reported citing the source.The source said that more than 15 terrorists were killed and an ammunition cache was destroyed in military operations against terrorists' gatherings in al-Sheikh Miskeen town.At least 25 militants were killed, and a fuel warehouse and a vehicle equipped with a heavy machine gun were destroyed in Mzayrib town.IANS
