In the wake of the discovery that a 22,400-page document about the Scorpène-class submarine (for which India has already paid French shipbuilder DCSN around $3.45 billion) was leaked, the Indian military establishment responded calmly. Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar told the media that he has asked the Navy Chief to dig up all the details on the documents and the Indian Navy issued a statement suggesting that the 'available information' was being examined by Ministry of Defence experts.The information in that leaked document, as pointed out earlier by Firstpost, appears to be an 'all-you-need-to-know' about the workings of the submarine, covering areas like its weapons systems, communications systems, sensor arrays etc.The Australian, the publication that broke the story of the leak, has published redacted excerpts of this leaked report that are being reproduced below:Secret Submarine Dossier Document 11

The document contains 4,457 pages of data on the submarine's underwater sensors (4,457), 4,209 pages on its above-water sensors, 4,301 on its combat management system, 2,138 pages on its navigation systems, 6,841 pages on its communications system and 493 pages on its weapons system, specifically, its torpedo launch system.Secret Submarine Dossier Document 21
