In a scathing attack on India’s friendship with Iran, the Right-wing Wall Street Journal, in an editorial titled “Iran’s Indian Enablers” has said that “Delhi is turning out to be the mullahs’ last best friend.”The remark has been made in the context of India’s decision to not only continue buying Iranian oil, but also enabling Tehran to buy Indian goods using rupees instead of dollars to beat the global sanctions.[caption id="attachment_215942" align="alignleft" width="380" caption="The newspaper, while conceding that “no one’s accusing India of ideological affinity with the mullahs”, still goes on to castigate India.
