According to the Gaza health ministry, an Israeli airstrike on Saturday struck a tent in Rafah, killing at least 11 Palestinians.

The attack near a hospital in the Tel Al-Sultan neighborhood of Rafah injured an additional fifty persons, according to the Gaza health ministry. A hospital medic was among those who passed away.

According to the Israeli military, its forces killed three more terrorists in Rimal, which is close to Gaza City, eight militants in Khan Younis, and over twenty militants in the central Gaza Strip.

The outbreak of violence was accompanied by anxiety over the Sunday resumed talks on a Gaza truce.

Egypt and Qatar are two of the mediators that Israel and Hamas have been using for negotiations.
