'Drug-lord at 24': Chile's 'Narco queen' shot dead in broad daylight; footage emerges

In a horrifying turn of events, a cocaine dealer in Chile, dubbed the "TikTok Narco Queen," was put to death in broad daylight.

In chilling footage captured by a spectator on Tuesday morning, Sabrina Durán, 24, was seen laying face down in the middle of a Santiago street following a gunshot wound from an attacker wearing a mask.

The mother-of-one, Durán, was stopped by three guys in the Santiago hamlet of Padre Hurtado when she was heading to a nail salon, according to local news sources.

When a shooter approaches and opens fire, Durán is already shown in the video down on the ground and attempting to get up. She then uses her car to flee.

The Chilean police have not given a reason for the horrifying murder, but people with knowledge of the inquiry claim it was related to "settling scores."

There was no additional information given regarding who or why.

Authorities discovered a burning Durán car in Quilicura.

Major Leonel Muñoz of the police informed reporters,

"We are broadening the scope of the investigation to see if there are more motivating factors."

Durán was sentenced to three years in prison for drug trafficking after being detained in 2022 on suspicion of being the head of a local criminal organization.

Before they were all apprehended, she tried to break out of prison by jumping from the third story with other prisoners.

She was, however, given a conditional release from prison in September, enabling her to complete the remainder of her term at home.

With more than 467,000 followers on TikTok, where she has been promoting beauty products since 2021, Durán has developed a sizable social media following.

She posted a video on Monday, showcasing the products she received from DCM Cosmetics.
