Zync Global Private Limited today announced its foray into the phablet segment with the 5-inch dual-SIM Android phablet Cloud Z5. The phablet is priced at Rs 9,490. It comes with SIM calling and SMS functionality.
The Cloud Z5 functions on the Android v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system. It is powered by a 1GHz single-core processor. It has 512MB of RAM. The phablet has a battery life of 2500mAh with a talktime of up to five hours.

The device weighs 190 grams. As per an official statement by Zync, the other features of the phablet possesses are Ebook, email, messaging, VPN Services, Google search, Flash Player, light sensors, Documents to go, wallpapers, calendar, calculator, clock, tethering, and portable hotspot. The phablet supports the video formats: mov, mkv, avi, rmvb, rm, ts, tp, m2ts, vob, dat, mped, mp4, pmp, 3gp, flv, wmv, asf. The audio formats supported are: mp3, wav, amr, awb.

Zync Cloud Z5 phablet runs ICS
The Zync Cloud Z5 will be available on all e-commerce websites such as Flipkart.com, Homeshop18.com, Naaptol.com, Snapdeal.com, Indiatimes, and Infibeam. The company is offering a one-year comprehensive warranty for the tablet, and also pick-up-and-drop facility for servicing the device.
Earlier this month, Zync had announced the launch of its new product, the Z930. The 7-inch tablet is priced at Rs 5,499. It runs on the Android v4.0 (ICS), which can be upgraded to the Android v4.1 (Jellybean) platform. The tablet will be distributed across 22 states, and will also be available through e-commerce websites such as Flipkart, Homeshop18, Naaptol, Snapdeal, Indiatimes, and Infibeam.
The tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor with a Mali 400 GPU. It also offers in-built 3G support via dongles. It is fuelled by a 3,600mAh Lithium-Ion battery. Z930 comes loaded with 512MB of RAM, and weighs 340 grams. The other features include a standard USB port, a Micro USB port, a 3.5mm earphone jack, a microSD TF slot along with HDMI support. The tablet also boasts of features such as a G-Sensor that allows for motion sensor based games.
