Yu Yuphoria to go on open sale starting today via Amazon

Yu Televentures is all set to make its affordable Yu Yuphoria handsets be sold in an open sale model from 21 to 23 July.

Yu Televentures is all set to sell its affordable Yu Yuphoria handsets in an open sale model from today to 23 July. In anticipation of this sale which will not require any pre-registration, Yu Televentures will be keeping 100,000 handsets ready. The Yu Yuphoria phones will as usual, be sold exclusively on Amazon India.All of these handsets will come with the 'Made In India' tag, taking forth the Make In India initiative, the company said in a press statement.
The Yu Yuphoria is a Rs 6,999 handset sporting the Cyanogen OS. The smartphone sports a 5-inch IPS display with 720 x 1080 pixels resolution with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Yu Yuphoria smartphone comes with metal frame.It runs Android Lollipop-based Cyanogen OS 12. It comes with an app themer that allows users to customise the look and feel of the device. Also, users can expect a Truecaller integrated dialler.The device is 8.25mm in thickness and weighs 143 grams. Under the hood, it gets a true 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 2GB RAM. It also gets 16GB onboard storage. The dual SIM smartphone supports most sensors found in flagship devices. It also supports Bluetooth and 4G LTE.
