Yu Televentures to announce the Yureka Black on 1 June
The new Yu Yureka Black is expected to arrive with update hardware.
Yu Televentures, the subsidiary brand from Micromax is expected to make a comeback this year. The company has started sending out invites for its upcoming handset which will be a revamped version of its debut handset Yureka.The handset will come in a black colour option and will be officially announced at an even on 1 June. Previous tweets point out to taglines such as "Black raises the bar" with the hashtag #BlackIsBack. Indeed a number of smartphones have been arriving in special black color variants including the OnePlus 3T and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. It seems that the company wants to take the same route to attract customers.The original Yu Yureka was launched with a 5.5-inch 720p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 system on chip with an octa-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and the Adreno 405 GPU clocked at 550 MHz. It came with 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and offers 16 GB of storage which could be expanded via the microSD card slot by 32 GB. The handset arrived with an official version of Cyanogenmod 12 and later saw a refresh version in the form of Yureka Plus which has a better resolution display.
