Yu Televentures makes a comeback, launches the Yureka Black at Rs 8,999

After almost 10 months, Yu Televentures announced a new smartphone today called the Yureka Black. The company had been teasing about the handset for a while now and today it has gone official with a price of Rs 8,999.The new Yureka Black is a tribute to the original Yureka which was launched in December 2014. The company said that it is going to focus on providing the experience and how the handset is designed rather than specifications.The handset features a polished metal back which the company says goes through a long finishing process. There is a 5-inch Full HD display protected with Gorilla Glass 3. The Black is powered by a Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor that is paired with 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded further using a microSD card of up to 128 GB.There is a 13 MP camera at the back with a Sony sensor and a dual-LED flash, while at the front there is an 8 MP camera. The battery is rated at 3,000 mAh and is said to last all day thanks to the software optimizations. Other features include a fingerprint scanner on the front and built in gestures for the display like three-finger swipe for screenshots, one-handed mode and so on.The Yureka Black will be available from 6 June on midnight exclusively from Flipkart. The handset is priced at Rs 8,999.
