Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A with Snapdragon 435 launched in another variant with 4 GB RAM

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi, having recently launched the Mi A1, has added another variant to its Redmi Note 5A. The company launched the new smartphone in two variants for the Chinese market earlier, but has now added a higher RAM and storage capacity variant.[caption id="attachment_3864175" align="alignleft" width="380"] Xiaomi logo. Reuters[/caption]While Xiaomi is yet to officially state when it is planning to launch the Redmi Note 5A in India, it has launched a higher end variant of the device in China. The new phone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. It is priced at CNY 1,199 (approx Rs 12,000).The base variant of the Redmi Note 5A sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset along with 2 GB of RAM is priced at CNY 699 (approximately Rs 7,000). GSMArena.[/caption]In terms of other features of the Redmi Note 5A, the phone comes with a 5.5-inch HD display and a 3080 mAh battery unit. In terms of the camera specifications, we get a 13 MP f/2.2 sensor which comes with a PDAF focussing system. The front camera comes with a better 16 MP f/2.0 sensor, which would appeal to selfie enthusiasts.All variants come with dual SIM capability along with a dedicated microSD card slot.
