A recent survey conducted by GamesBond had some interesting revelations about mobile gaming in India. Apparently, women are bigger consumers of games than men, but at the same time, use cheaper phones with smaller capacities.Women2The report indicates that 79 percent of women play games daily and at least 44 percent spend more than an hour everyday on their games. That's a higher figure than the 71 percent of men who spend time gaming on their phones.Women3It's also been revealed that consumption of games among women is higher, with an average of 33 percent of them downloading more than 5 games a month. Puzzle, strategy and casual games are, as expected, the most popular genres among women gamers. Most game discovery happens through social media in the case of women as well. It's also been revealed that for women, the tablet is a secondary gaming platform.Paradoxically, it seems that women would rather not pay as much for games as men.Considering this report, it's high time you went and bought your better half/mom/grandma/sister that phone she always deserved. They'll make better use of it than you anyway.GamesBond, in their own words, is a premium gaming marketplace that is owned and operated by Mauj Mobile.
