Twitter celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi with a special emoji

Micro-blogging website Twitter introduced an emoji on Ganesh festival, and the special emoji has won over hearts globally.According to a statement issued by the site, the number of tweets using hashtag #GaneshChaturthi that went out from September 3 to 6, were 4,80,000.https://twitter.com/TwitterIndia/status/772677390283644928?ref_src=twsrc%5EtfwThere was also a spike on Monday morning with 600 tweets per minute.The first-ever Ganesh festival emoji was launched on September 4. People can activate it using hashtags like #GaneshChaturthi, #HappyGaneshChaturthi or #Ganeshotsav.After the hashtags are used, a Lord Ganesha emoji is activated next to the hashtag.
