The Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum; a wireless mouse that beats wired mice at their own game

Wireless gaming mice have a reputation for being terrible. Horrendous input lag just at the moment you don’t want it is par for the course but Logitech decided that they will have none of that. Introducing, the Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum (quite a mouthful); Logitech’s answer to all your wireless mouse woes.When it comes to gaming mice, the Razer DeathAdder has long been a favourite of ours. It’s precise tracking and excellent ergonomics, coupled with a great price tag, mean it’s the gaming mouse of choice for a lot of gamers. On the wireless side of things however, there isn’t much competition to speak of. Wired mouse sweep the floor with them.The Logitech G900 however, is claimed to have lower latency than most wired mice on the market, the Razer DeathAdder included, and can apparently run circles around just about every wireless mouse in the market. Perhaps even literally.Years of research has been put into the G900, says Logitech, and they say that they’ve now achieved their target. They claim that their wireless mouse offering offers a measurable improvement in performance over the DeathAdder and is way better than the SteelSeries Rival 300. The G900’s technology has been tested and honed over the years to such an extent that it responds perfectly in even the most adverse wireless environments. Or so says Logitech.There’s no way for us to confirm these statements yet, but rest assured, once we get our hands on a review sample, we’ll let you know exactly what we think.Logitech expects the G900 Chaos Spectrum to retail for a hefty $150 (around Rs 10,000).
