The latest WhatsApp beta finally adds support for Android 7 Nougat's notification system

The latest version of WhatsApp finally brings full support for Android 7.0’s notification system.Android 7.0 Nougat brought with it the ability to show notifications that are grouped by conversation, rather than just the app. It also brought improvements to the way you use quick reply to notifications, Android Wear support and more.WhatsApp hadn’t yet embraced these features and still stuck to the traditional notification style. Android Police reports that as of WhatsApp version 2.17.13 beta, the app now supports Nougat’s notification in full.With the new update, you’ll now be able to reply to individual conversations from within the notification menu as well.As you can tell from the name, the feature is still in beta and isn’t yet available to everyone.
