Stylish Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 8 speaker system launched

Bang & Olufsen has crafted the new docking station speaker system that aims to blend superior sound and aesthetic design. The stylish device, dubbed BeoSound 8 could enhance the visual appeal of any room in your house with its chic, yet sophisticated looks. The BeoSound 8 can be moved from room to room or you can wall mount it using a custom wall bracket, and all one needs is a power outlet. One can securely place the iPhone, iPad or iPod on the docking station.The speakers adorn a conical shape which adds some technical benefits such as they disappear to create an unobstructive impression from viewing angles and also make placement of the speakers simpler. They also eliminate standing waves by avoiding parallel surfaces.  

Style and quality

BeoSound 8 can be picked in black or white and features aluminium details and matching power cord. You can also opt for six fabric speaker covers in yellow, orange, red, silver, black and white. You can play music using the phone, media player or even computer while an app version of the sleek, slim BeoPlayer is also made available. BeoSound 8 helps adjust sound levels and also skip tracks conveniently. Controlling music on the docked or USB linked device can be controlled with a dedicated round remote control and also compatible Beo4 and Beo6 remote controls, in case you own Bang & Olufsen equipment.

BeoSound 8 comes with additional connection options for added convenience. It isn’t just meant to be used with devices to be docked, but also promises to serve as a powerful speaker for PC and Mac. You can also listen to music from the iPhone without the need of docking it using the Airport Express. BeoSound 8 can also be adjusted to its placement with the included manual position switch that adjusts the speakers’ performance, depending upon where you want to place it, be it a corner, against a wall, or standing freely.
