Spice unveils Stellar Virtuoso Mi-495 and Stellar Pad Mi-1010

S Mobility Limited today unveiled the latest additions to its Stellar range—the dual-SIM Ice Cream Sandwich-based Stellar Virtuoso and the Stellar Pad tablet.

Dilip Modi, Co-Founder & Group COO, Spice Group said, “The launch reflects our belief in constant innovation and customer delight. The Stellar Virtuoso Mi-495 comes with a 9.44mm thin body and is packed with a 1.0GHz dual-core processor and 11.43 cm qHD screen. This smartphone offers an 8.0 megapixel auto-focus camera with flash and a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera. It also offers video-calling facility and supports expandable memory up to 32GB. The 1,700mAh battery promises 6 hours of talk time and standby time of 200 hours. The Virtuoso comes with a free leather cover and a screen guard, worth Rs 1,000.phone

With this launch, the company aims to strengthen its foothold in the smartphone market in India. Spice currently holds five percent of the handset market share, as per a press communique. Modi added, “We believe the potential demand of fully-loaded 3G smartphones at an aggressive price point will now fuel the aspirations of the evolved customers. Since demand of data services ‘on-the-go’ is rising faster than ever, we see an opportunity to stamp our dominance in this segment.”

The Spice Stellar Pad Mi-1010 comes with a 25.65 cm screen and Jelly Bean 4.1 OS. It is armed with a 1.5GHz dual core processor with a quad-core GPU. It also has a 7,600 mAh Lithium ion polymer battery that offers a video playing time of 6 hours and a standby of 15 days. It's packed with 16GB of internal memory and comes with a leather cover worth Rs 2,000 and a USB ‘on-the-go’ cable, absolutely free.

The Stellar Virtuoso Mi-495 is available for Rs 10,499 and the Stellar Pad Mi-1010 is available for Rs 12,999.
