In a bid to boost sales and offer their customers that little extra functionality in the media department, India’s own Spice mobiles or Spice Mobility is joining forces with SRS labs. New mobile handsets from Spice that will be making their way to shelves soon will all feature the SRS WOW HD audio enhancement to provide for better media capabilities.

According to the MobileIndian.com, Spice, who’s already got their feet firmly planted in the Android smartphone segment, is planning on launching at least 3 more handsets. Judging from their model numbers - Spice M6700 aka Cappuccino, M6450 also known as Metal and the M6900 aka Knight -  these would not be of the smartphone variety. Spice's smartphones all currently seem to bear a ‘Mi’ prefix to the number. The addition of more media-rich handsets using the SRS WOW HD engine should put the company at the leading end of the pack. This kind of music enhancement technology is designed to offer users looking for better audio quality from their devices, a much more vibrant experience. Tone quality should be drastically higher than some of the competition's offerings.
