Sony Xperia Z1s leaked images reveal pricing and availability

The Xperia Z1s, known to be the international version of the Xperia Z1 f has surfaced on the web. Digi-Wo has got its hands on three new pictures showing the upcoming smartphone. One of the leaked images shows the dialer of the device while the other two pictures show the Z1s placed next to the Z1.

Interestingly, one of the leaked pictures also discloses its price. The annotation on the image reads that Xperia Z1s may be priced at 3,600 Yuan which is approximately Rs 36,889. The Z1s is likely to be made available in the first quarter of 2014.

One can easily point out the striking similarity between the two.

Though the Z1s is a mini variant of the Xperia Z1, the company hasn’t stepped down its specifications. It is said to feature a smaller screen with lower resolution, but will reportedly still retain the same quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and gigantic 20.7 megapixel camera as the bigger smartphone.

The image below shows the Z1s sized up against a white-coloured Xperia Z1, showing the rear side of the devices. It also shows the Sony G lens on its rear snapper.

Previously, we’ve seen toned down mini versions of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One, which were available for a cheaper price.  However, Sony looks like it plans to change the trend. The company now seems to be targeting users who are looking for similar powerful features found in the high-end devices but prefer smaller display.
