Sony unveils Xperia Z3+ sporting Snapdragon 810 SoC and 20.7MP camera

Sony just unveiled the all new Xperia Z3+ in Japan, the global version of the already released Xperia Z4, which was launched last month.

Sony just unveiled the all new Xperia Z3+ in Japan, the global version of the already released Xperia Z4, which was launched last month. The Sony Xperia Z3+ will launch alongside a dual-SIM variant in June. The only difference between the two variants is that the latter supports dual-SIM cards. There is no information provided as to when the devices will be available in different markets nor has the price been revealed for the smartphones. Both devices will be available in black, white, copper and aqua green variants.In terms of specifications, the Sony Xperia Z3+ features a 5.2-inch full-HD Triluminos display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor paired with 3GB RAM. The smartphone includes 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB.
The Android Lollipop-based Xperia Z3+ features a 20.7MP autofocus rear camera and comes with features like 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS BSI sensor, Bionz image processor and a pulsed LED flash. For selfie lovers, the smartphone has a 5MP front facing camera with features an Exmor R BSI sensor.  It also features a 25mm wide-angle lens along with EIS (electronic image stabilisation).In terms of connectivity, the Sony Xperia Z3+ includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi with hotspot, 3G, 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, Micro-USB, DLNA and NFC. The device comes powered with a 2,930mAh battery and the company promises a 2-day battery life.
