The 5.5-inch Sony Tablet P
This tablet like the first will be running on Android 3.1 and will feature a clamshell design. Like the Sony Tablet S, this 5.5-inch tablet will have NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 processors and 0.3 megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity options of this tablet include 4G and Wi-Fi. The Tablet P weighs in at 370g, making it one really light slate. Apart from this, it is said that it will feature 512MB of RAM and 4GB of in-built memory. A 2GB SD card will also be bundled up with this tablet for extra storage space.
As for pricing and other specifications, no word is yet available. However, retailers have told Engadget that details on availability as well as costing should be available soon. Let us know your reactions on this unconventional looking tablet from Sony in the comments below.
