Design conscious audio product maker Skullcandy updated its portfolio and announced the new Grind wireless headphones in India starting at Rs 6,499. The headphones will be be available exclusively from Tata Croma stores for the first month before hitting other retail stores and online e-commerce portals.Update to the original wired Grind headphones which are currently available for Rs 2.500, the new range offers a similar sound performance delivered along with Bluetooth for a wire-free experience. According to Skullcandy, the headphones comes with an integrated amplifier component to provide a higher power rating and less distortion and high-end drivers enable a better dynamic range.The headphones also offer premium materials including the plush on-ear cushions as well as a lightweight and durable metal headband that should be quite comfortable. The battery life is claimed to be about 12-hours which is good to see. The headphones also come with a microphone and call, track and volume controls integrated into the right ear-cup.“Our wireless product innovations were well-received in 2015.
