Samsung's "never mind offer" allows users a one-time broken screen replacement after paying Rs 990

Samsung's offer for repairing the broken screen can be availed from the seventh day of activating the phone. And it remains valid for 12 months.

With festivities just round the corner, Samsung has come out with a Durga Pujo offer for all its customers. It would be available in authorised centres in West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Manipur, Mizoram, Arunachal, Nagaland and Orissa.However, according to a report by The Hindu, Samsung senior vice-president, Asim Warsi, had said that the offer is for devices which are priced above Rs 9,000, if purchased between 21 September and 21 October.The offer for repairing the broken screen can be availed from the seventh day of activating the phone. And it remains valid for 12 months.Though the replacement comes at the cost of Rs 990 for broken screens, the services can be availed only once. This offer is valid for only Samsung Galaxy smartphones and some tablets.Devices valid for this offer are from S series (S8+, S8, S7 edge, S7, S6 edge+, S6 edge, and S6), Note series (Note 5, Note 5 Dual Sim), A series (A7 (2017), A5 (2017), A9 Pro, A7 (2016) and A5 (2016)), C Series (C9 Pro and C7 Pro), J series (J7 Pro, J7 Max, J7 Prime, J5 Prime, J7 Nxt, J7 2016, J2 (2016), J2Pro and J7 (2015)) and amongst tablets, Tab S3, Tab A, Tab E, Galaxy J Max and Tab S2.In other news, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was unveiled for the Indian markets on 12 September and the phablet smartphone has now gone up on pre-order exclusively on Amazon till 21 September. As per the announcements on launch day, the deliveries too will begin from 21 September onwards with the device being priced at Rs 67,900. It is the first Samsung phone to feature a dual-camera with 12 MP sensors and dual OIS.
