Samsung's smart-speaker shall be launched in the second half of the year and that it would be a vital piece for Samsung's Connected Vision household.

As is the case with Alexa, this soon-to-come smart-speaker will also be able to control household objects such as TVs, ACs, Microwaves etc. This makes sense as Samsung has the whole bouquet of its Smart Things IoT ecosystem.Apart from the smart-speaker, Koh also said that the bendable display sporting Galaxy X is not a gimmick. However, as was the case with the smart-speaker, he has provided no fixed timeline for the device. He said, "Sometimes I do not listen. My ear is not so good.", when he was questioned by CNET of a possible launch of the Galaxy X this year.Be sure to follow our MWC 2018 page, Twitter and Facebook channels for LIVE updates from the show floor.
