Samsung Launches Star II Mobile Phone in India
The Star II aka S5260 has some decent specifications to offer.

We had already seen the Star II about three months back so seeing the Star’s successor make it out this month is not surprising. The smartphone, also called the S5260, has some decent specifications for the price it’s being offered at.![Star II has arrived!]()

Star II has arrived!
Star II doesn’t run on Android but comes with the company’s customized TouchWiz User Interface. The phone also has an Accelerometer and boasts of the following specifications:
- 3-inch Capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels
- Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP
- 3.15 Megapixel camera
- Memory expandable up to 16 GB
- Stereo FM Radio
- 3.5 mm audio jack
The handset also supports Gtalk, Facebook Chat and Yahoo IM apps and can play media formats like MP3, MP4, H.263 and H.264 along with the others. The phone’s also got a Document Viewer which can read formats of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF.
