Samsung launches flagship premium QLED TV line-up in India; prices start from Rs 3,14,900

Samsung Electronics India today launched a new flagship line up of QLED TVs that it claims is the future of home entertainment coupled with cutting-edge technology and style. The new TV range which consists of five models, Q7, Q7F, Q8, Q8C and the Q9 will be going on sale in India this month and have been priced between Rs 3,14,900 and Rs 24,99,900.The new QLED TVs are based on Samsung's Quantum Dot technology. They feature nano-sized particles that the company claims turns light into colour.The Quantum Dot technology allows for darker blacks and brighter whites and the displays are capable of producing 100 percent colour volume.Interesting customers who pre-book the QLED TVs between 2 May and 21 May will get a free Samsung Galaxy S8+ smartphone in its Maple Gold finish.Coming to the TVs, the Q7, Q8, Q8C and the Q9 will be available in 55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch panels. The Samsung Q7F will only be available in 55-inch and 65-inch sizes.Samsung also showcased a new mounting system at the event. The new no-gap mounting system allows the QLED TV to be fitted flush with the surface of the wall. Other options like the Gravity Stand and the Studio Stand are also available.The TV's run Samsung's new and updated smart TV interface that supports voice control and Samsung's Smart View app (available on iOS and Android).
