Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 press renders leak, hints at a S5-like design


Press renders look pretty legit[/caption] Earlier reports speculated that the tablet will have a fingerprint sensor and all the features (Fingerprint Unlock, PayPal Payments, Private Folder and Samsung Apps login) associated with it, just like on the Samsung Galaxy S5. Under its hood, Galaxy tab S will likely have Octa-core Exynos 5 (5420) SoC with big.LITTLE architecture. The SoC will be made up of four 1.9GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 cores. It has been coupled with 3GB RAM. The GPU will be 6-core ARM Mali-T628. The tablet is expected to come with Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out of the box. Other rumoured specs include a 8MP rear camera with 1080p recording and a 2.1MP front camera. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.0 LE / ANT+, GPS, DLNA, Wi-Fi ac, GLONASS and an IR blaster. Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy Tab 10.5 and possibly a sister 8.4-inch tablet as well at an event held in Ney York, on June 12.
