Saints Row 4 to get GATV and Wild West add-on packs

A new DLC for Saints Row 4 will be hitting the PlayStation 3 some time next week. The add-ons, called GATV and Wild West, will be available for purchase on PlayStation Network, according to the latest episode of the PlayStation Blogcast. It is unknown whether these add-ons will be making their way to Xbox 360 and PC as well.

The GATV is centered on the character Johnny Gat and has a bunch of cosmetic items and a new weapon, called the Knifegun. We're not exactly sure what this weapon is, but after seeing things like the Dubstep Gun in Saints Row 4, we know that it will be entertaining. The podcast hasn't confirmed what the Wild West DLC will have, albeit it's a bit easy to guess that it will have a western theme to it.

Saints Row 4 has been quite a success for publisher Deep Silver and parent company Koch Media. Just a few days after the game's release, the Koch Media announced that it had sold more than one million copies in the first week.

Saints Row 4 is currently available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC through digital distribution platform Steam. The game costs $49.99 (Rs 3,167 approx) across all platforms.
