The redesigned Nokia 3310 is tipped to release on 28 April in Germany and Austria

Pre-order listings have hinted that HMD Global will launch the redesigned Nokia 3310 on 28 April. Nokia Power User reported that the Nokia 3310 will be the first mobile device to hit the market from among the four mobile devices announced by HMD at MWC 2017. These devices include Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3310.The report suggests that the article numbers for Nokia 3310 models listed on pre-order listings are valid across other retailers. Comstern has opened pre-orders for Germany and Austria along with Allestechnik and E-Tec. One thing to note is that the pricing mentioned in all these listings is higher than the one quoted by HMD Global. The company announced that it will launch the smartphones in 120 markets across the globe so we can expect launch date for other countries around 28 April.Nokia 3310 sports a 2.4-inch QVGA colour display along with 16 MB of internal storage that can be expanded to 32 GB using the memory card slot. HMD Global has added a 2 MP camera along with an LED flash in the new version. The feature phone will come with a 3.5 mm AV connector along with FM Radio and a built-in MP3 player. On the connectivity front, there’s a micro-USB port for charging and data transfers and Bluetooth 3.0.The phone will be powered by a 1,200 mAh battery that HMD Global promises can deliver a maximum standby time of up to 25.3 days with a maximum talk time of 22.1 hours. The device runs Nokia’s Series 30+ software. The Nokia Series 30+ is unlike the older S30 or S40 platforms, which means no support for J2ME applications. It can, however, run Opera Mini for browsing, provided it is built into the software, something that has not been confirmed for now.
