OxygenOS Open Beta 24 and 15 out for OnePlus 3 and 3T: Brings ‘Soft’ screen calibration and new boot animation

OnePlus has rolled out OxygenOS Open Beta 24 its OnePlus 3 smartphone and Open Beta 15 for the OnePlus 3T. The updates albeit in the Beta stage have reverted the screen calibration and added a new ‘Soft’ screen calibration along with a new boot animation.[caption id="attachment_3896605" align="alignleft" width="380"]

This new Open Beta version comes almost two weeks after the rollout of Open Beta 23 for OnePlus 3 and Open Beta 14 for the OnePlus 3T. One of the key highlights of this update in addition to the usual bug fixes is the new ‘Soft’ screen calibration.We have added the detailed changelog below for you to check about all the changes in the latest update:System：

• Added "Soft" screen calibration

- We’ve reverted the screen calibration and added the new calibration from last build as “soft.” You can enable the new calibration in the "display> screen" calibration section of settings

• New boot animation
• Optimised the clearing of recent apps

• Updated Community app to V1.9.5
• Minor bug fixes

If your fingers are itching and you want to try out the new features, you will need to refer to the detailed flashing instructions (and download links for the ROM) here.Once you have switched to a Beta ROM, you will stop receiving updates for the stable ROMs that arrive for normal users. If you think of switching down the line, you will have to wipe your device completely to switch back to standard, stable, public ROMs.
