Oppo has unveiled an upgraded variant of the Oppo R5 dubbed R5s. The listing has been spotted on the company's European website and is priced at EUR 199 (approximately Rs 15,200). Available in a grey color variant, the major USP of the device is that, it measures 4.85mm thickness, making it one of the slimmest phones available in the market. It is expected to launch soon.In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5.2-inch full HD display with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution along with a pixel density of 423ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 3GB RAM.The new device will come equipped with a 13MP rear camera with Sony IMX214 sensor and LED flash along with a 5MP front facing camera. It includes an internal storage of 32GB and does not feature a microSD card slot.The Oppo R5s runs on ColorOS 2.0.1, based on Android 4.4 KitKat and includes connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, 4G, and micro-USB. It is backed by a 2000mAh battery and supports VOOC charging technology which is said to charge the battery from 0 to 75 percent in around 30 minutes, according to the company.
