Oppo has announced a new variant of its recently launched F1 Plus smartphone. While there are no pricing details yet, we do know that the smartphone will be coming to India around mid-June and that it features an 18k gold FC Barcelona club insignia on the back.While we have already reviewed the Oppo F1 Plus, but this model literally comes drenched in FC Barcelona touches that should attract plenty of club fans. To begin with the phone comes with the club colours including Barcablue with the two red stripes. One will also find the signatures of Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez, Ivan Rakitic and Andres Iniesta engraved on the inside of the the blue leather cover.The highlight is indeed the 18k gold club insignia on the back. The device features an all-black front bezel instead of the standard white one available on the gold version. The club branding makes its way even deeper in the smartphone thanks to an exclusive FC Barcelona theme.“The F1 Plus is all about snappiness, style and speed, so there’s no better partner for it than the phenomenal FC Barcelona,” said Sky Li, OPPO Vice President and Managing Director of International Mobile Business. The handset is expected to cost more than the standard version which retails for Rs 26,990.The Oppo F1 Plus features a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a pixel density of 401ppi. It is powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and runs the latest version of the company's ColorOS 3.0.
