OnePlus One users with pending service issues to get extended warranty

Chinese phone maker OnePlus has announced an ‘extended warranty’ for its smartphone users in India. This means, all service related issues pending for more than 15 working days at service centres will automatically get a 3 months extended warranty. It will be applicable on the OnePlus One and all future smartphones."In a first across the consumer device landscape, all service related issues till date that have faced delays or have been pending for longer than 15 working days in our support centres will automatically get a 3 month extension on their warranty for their OnePlus One in India. And just to make things sweeter, all future smartphones from our stable will follow this service guarantee," OnePlus explained in a blogpost.Indian users who purchased the One from oneplus.net prior to India launch will also be eligible for the service.Vikas Agarwal, General Manager India, OnePlus said, “While it is our constant endeavour to close most of our customer service requests within 3 days, this complimentary extended warranty will compensate users in case of any unexpected delays. We have always considered our fans and users to be a priority, and this service is a testimony of our efforts in empowering them further.”Besides, the company has also announced a new toll-free number – 000 8008 522 008 -  for customer support and feedback.The company launched OnePlus One in India last year.
