Nokia Lumia 900 and 610 to launch in India tomorrow

Nokia flagship device the Lumia 900 is all set to launch in India tomorrow according to online reports. The Lumia 610 is the other phone which will be launched.

Nokia's flagship device the Lumia 900 is all set to launch in India tomorrow according to TheNextWeb. The phone which has a 4.3-inch AMOLED ClearBlack glass touchscreen, and 8-megapixel camera, is Nokia's challenge to the iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy S. Nokia also claims that the phone has an all day battery life, with up to 8 hours talk time and 400 hours standby.

Other technical specifications of the Lumia 900 include : A single core 1.4 GHz Qualcomm processor, 512 MB RAM and 16 GB memory. There's also a secondary camera in the front for video chat.

According to rumour mills the phone is likely to sport Batman-branding as part of the promotion of the new Batman film The Dark Knight Rises.

The Lumia 610 is the other phone which will be launched at the event in New Delhi. The Lumia 610 has a 3.7 inch display screen, 5 megapixel camera, 8GB memory, 256 MB RAM, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon single core processor at 800 MHz. This will likely be a mid-range smartphone unlike the Lumia 900 which is a high-end device.

Both phones are running Windows OS 7.5.
