Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P: Price and pre-order dates leaked

Today, Google will finally unveil its two most anticipated Nexus smartphones – Huawei 6P and LG 5X – at an event in San Francisco. Most leaks through the previous weeks have offered information regarding the devices which includes smartphone images, detailed specifications along with retail boxes too. However, a new leak has now offered information regarding pricing and availability as well.According to a report by Android Police, pre-orders for Google's Nexus 5X (16GB variant) will start as early as September 29, the same day as the phone's announcement, and is expected to be priced at $379.99 (approximately Rs 25,200). However, pre-orders for the device is said to be available only on the Google Store and will not be sold in US carrier stores. It is said to be available in the US, UK, Korea, Japan, and Ireland. Colour variants may be Carbon, Quartz and Ice Blue.On the other hand, another report by Android Police points out that pre-orders for the new Nexus smartphone will also begin on 29 September, and is expected to be priced at $499.99 for the 32GB version. The smartphone will also be available in 64GB and 128GB storage variants. Countries where the Nexus 6P will be available for pre-order are the U.S., UK, Ireland, Canada, and Japan. The latter is reportedly getting exclusivity on the Gold colour variant too.
