Nextbit Robin with 100GB cloud storage launched in India at Rs 19,999

Nextbit has finally launched its Robin smartphone in the India for an asking price of Rs 19,999. The Nextbit Robin hits pre-order today and will be exclusive to Flipkart. The device will begin shipping from 30 May.The Nextbit Robin features a 5.2-inch 1080p display. Inside we get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage with no memory card expansion. Nextbit claims to offer 100 GB plus cloud storage, for those looking for additional storage space and will even automatically back up apps to the cloud when it runs out local storage.In the camera department we have a 13-megapixel rear snapper (with dual tone flash) and a 5MP front facing camera for selfies. The device packs in the usual connectivity options including 4G bands, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and even includes a USB Type-C charging port and fingerprint scanner located on the power button. The handset boots to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and is powered by a 2,680mAh non-removable battery.The smartphone was announced back in October 2015 and promised to offer unlimited storage on your phone thanks to cloud connectivity. The Kickstarter campaign quickly reached its goal and the NextBit Robin soon went on sale abroad. The smartphone's launch in India is a bit late, but the company has something unique to offer both in terms of software and hardware design.
