With the IFA set to kick off, there are a range of leaks that are happening. The latest product that has made an appearance is an unusual looking tablet from HTC. This information comes via Droiddog and the Android related website has sourced these images from a Twitter account @evleaks.

Sleek design
Besides this tablet, HTC is expected to take the wraps off a mid range smartphone called the Desire X. As per a recent report, the HTC Desire X will come loaded with Android 4.0.4 and will be powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. The dimensions of the handset suggest that it will measure 118.5 x 62.3 x 9.3mm making it a fairly slim handset. The Desire X will weigh a mere 120g, so it should not be too heavy on the pocket.
Strange shape
Here is a quick look at the highlighted features of the Desire X
- Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4.0 UI
- 4.0-inch Super LCD display
- 1GHz dual-core processor
- Bluetooth 4.0
- 3.5mm audio jack, USB
- 4GB internal storage + microSD card support, 768MB RAM
- 5MP rear camera with LED flash, F/2.0 aperture and HTC ImageChip

Possibly a 10-inch display
As of now, these are the only two mobile devices expected to be launched by the brand at the event. However, HTC may have a surprise in store for us and launch a slew of devices just like it did at the Mobile World Congress event held earlier this year.
Another manufacturer that is supposed to make a big impact at the IFA event is Samsung. The brand is expected to unveil its next generation Galaxy Note smartphone, dubbed the Galaxy Note 2.
Here is a brief look at what one can expect to find on the handset once launched:
- 5.5-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen with a 1280 x 720
- 4G LTE, EDGE, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, NFC
- GPS possibly with GLONASS and A-GPS support
- Bluetooth possible v4.0 with USB and hopefully USB-on-the-go
- 8 megapixel AF/ Touchfocus camera with full HD video recording and playback
- A front facing camera for video calls and chats
- 16GB and 32GB versions, all with expandable support
- MHL for AV out
Earlier reports have indicated that the next generation Galaxy Note is expected to feature the Pen-tile matrix display instead of the RGB variant used in the S II. Apart from the screen size, the design is said to be heavily inspired by the Galaxy S III, so we can expect a similar form factor with heavily rounded edges and a pebble-like design. If the Note II is indeed modelled around the S III, there is a good chance that the phone will get some or all of the ‘S’ features such as S Beam, Smart Stay eye tracking and Smart Voice.
