Projectors are quite dull in themselves, about as boring as any regular LCD panel. Sony’s Xperia Projector Concept however, is far more interesting, as far as projectors go.As the name suggests, the device that was demoed at MWX 2016 is still in the concept stage and only meant to demonstrate the potential of such a device. But what is the Xperia Projector Concept? It’s a small, box-shaped projector that can turn any surface into an interactive one. The interactivity is what sets this projector apart from the regular mini-projectors out there.Sony was very tight-lipped about the device and refused to divulge any details, repeatedly, and rightly, insisting that the device was only a concept that is not slated for production yet. Regardless, we felt that such a device has great potential and with the right apps, could change the way we look at projectors ever again. For now, here are some images of the device taken from the show floor at MWC: Xperia Projector Concept 3Xperia Projector Concept 4
