MS goes retro with Xbox Live Arcade

Microsoft must be feeling extremely nostalgic these days as they have now added retro games to the list of downloadable content available on Xbox live. These games will be available from today till the 19th of August and will cost anything between $5 and $10. As part of this program, an old game from years gone by will be out every week and the schedule goes something like this: July 12 - Frogger July 19 - Cloning Clyde July 26 - Galaga August 2 - Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting August 9 - Pac-Man According to Greg Canessa, the group program manager for Xbox Live Arcade, "A good game never dies, our strategy is to pick the best games, just the cream of the crop, ones with evergreen game mechanics that never got old."
