Limited Edition OnePlus 5T Sandstone White variant announced at $559 in the US

OnePlus updates have been pouring in at a rapid pace these past few weeks. Now, as rumoured earlier, the Chinese smartphone company has announced a new Sandstone White variant of the OnePlus 5T.[caption id="attachment_4288185" align="alignleft" width="380"]

Image: OnePlus[/caption]As per a report by XDA Developers, a spokesperson for the company has stated that the new variant will be priced at $559 in the US, which is approximately Rs 35,400. The smartphone will rock the same internals as the original Oneplus 5T, with the changes here being only cosmetic.The OnePlus 5T launched in November last year and was initially available in only one colour — Midnight Black, and later saw a Limited Edition Star Wars edition with a white back and red accents. The new Sandstone White variant of the OnePlus 5T will also mark the return of the grippy sandstone finish, which was loved by fans of the OnePlus One and the OnePlus 2.Rumours that a sandstone-back variant was in the pipeline had started earlier this week after OnePlus took to its YouTube page with a video titled, 'What's in the box'. The video saw a number of OnePlus fans being allowed to feel a smartphone enclosed in an opaque box featuring the company logo.
