Apple and Nike have tied up once again and unveiled a new NikeLab model of the Apple Watch Series 2. The wearable is a limited edition device, event though it comes with nothing new, said for the new neutral-toned strap that is now available in black and white.The NikeLab goes with a Space Gray case from the Apple Watch Series 2 model and comes with deep integration with Nike+ Run app, which is basically a fitness-oriented social network by the sporting goods brand.The app will help users make coaching plans will not just adapt to their personal schedules but also provide guidance from coaches and athletes.
The new Apple Watch NikeLab will go on sale starting from 27 April on the official Nike website and the Apple Watch Store in Tokyo.Pricing details have yet to be revealed.“Apple Watch NikeLab is the ultimate style companion for those with a passion for running, whether emerging runners or marathon veterans,” reads a Nike press release.
The recent Apple Watch Series 2 Nike+ was launched in October last year and priced at Rs 32,990 in India. Aimed at fitness fanatics, runners and cross trainers, the watch is also resistant up to 50 metres.The new Apple Watch NikeLab will be available in 38mm and 42mm case options. As of now there are no details as to when the new model will arrive in India.
